HERO Construction recommended for ISO 9001:2015 certification

We are proud to share an important milestone in our journey of growth and excellence: HERO Construction and Development Corporation has been recommended for ISO 9001:2015 certification by TÜV NORD Philippines after successfully completing our Stage 2 certification audit last October 6, 2025.

This achievement is more than just a certificate. It’s a testament to our people, our processes, and our promise to our clients: Quality Construction, Delivered on Time.

Our Quality Journey: From Digital Transformation to ISO Certification

Our pursuit of quality excellence started as early as 2019, when HERO Construction began integrating digital tools into our operations. This was the start of our digital transformation: building efficient systems for payroll, project monitoring, finance, and records management. These early steps laid the foundation for a structured Quality Management System (QMS).

This year, we took the decisive step to formalize those efforts for ISO 9001:2015 certification. Even as an SME, we believed that strong systems and professional processes would set us apart in the construction industry.

Achieving this milestone would not have been possible without the dedication of our people. Every staff member, whether in the office or on-site, played a role by following procedures, attending trainings, joining quality meetings, and embedding standards into their daily work.

Audit Results: Zero Nonconformances, Many Positive Findings

The outcome of our Stage 2 audit brought us tremendous pride:

✅ Zero nonconformances were raised.

✅ Only a few suggestions for improvement were noted.

✅ Multiple positive findings were highlighted by the auditors, including:

1. Strong commitment to QMS – The organization’s commitment to implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System was recognized as noteworthy.
2. Proactive leadership – Top Management’s awareness of company challenges and proactive approach to risk mitigation was commended.
3. Safety adherence – Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by site laborers was evident and reflected adherence to safety practices.
4. Digitalization excellence – The use of the ERPNext system to digitalize process records, monitoring, updating, and document creation/revision was praised as commendable.

What makes this milestone even more meaningful is that it was achieved entirely through our own efforts. Every policy, procedure, and strategy was developed in-house, shaped by collaboration, countless brainstorming sessions, and the determination of our team to make it work.
